Transport Fever 2 – Review: Transport Fever 2 is an enjoyable simulation of infrastructure. As you set up passenger routes, resource lines, and more, you'll see the world growing and developing around your influence and inputs which is entertaining and even an addictive thing. Transport Fever 2 is more similar to cities, skylines, but you don't have to be concerned about building up the cities manually. Your task is as simple as giving the villages, cities, and towns the fuel they need for their growth. Population centers are interconnected to each other and resources points through road, sea, rail, and air, building and maintaining supply chains from one place to the other. It's both the brimming details and flexibility that makes the most impact. Talking about details, sticking with the supply chains is not as simple as popping a train station in a click, setting the pathways and the resources traveling and distributing within the city as if by magic. You'll need to follow a proper mechanism to build a truck stop that will enable you to carry your resources around brought in by rail and disseminated to more truck stops present across the city. One of the most amusing points in Transport Fever 2 is when setting up a new track, you figure out the most cost-effective way to get your machines transferred to Rochdale, utilize the same train lines, and establishing a bus service without causing a traffic congestion or blockage to other routes. It’s a captivating puzzle. You need to keep everything running like clockwork which is supremely pleasing. But this complex interface of the game can be a minor drawback for those who simply just want to click
and drag. From drawing roadmaps and surfaces, planning overlays and modes, and expanding chains you are at the risk of losing cash easily if a mistake is made in this complex system. You gain money at each step. When you start building these pathways you see cities really grow bigger and better and, as they grow, they need more resources as well as improved infrastructure links. But this expansion can come into conflict with other concerns that people might bring into your notice like climate changes, noise pollution, and old transport methods. In Transport Fever 2 towns are given fewer resources which can become controversial as in TF1 resources were adequately provided. This limit on resource requirements can make the game more challenging and complex, as the supply chains call for higher numbers of vehicles per city route. In Transport Fever 2, impressively-sized oceans can give you the chance to explore aquatic vehicle chains in more detail. The use of color-coding is skillfully done, so you don’t get distracted from the involvement and detail of the game. For admirers of the series, this version is a truly exciting development. It’s richer and smoother than its predecessor and has some unique features to leave you pleasingly surprised with every chapter and upgrade. The campaign is time-consuming and diverse, the difficult and complex curves give enough room to appeal to all levels of interest.
