To operate ALISS <br>1. One thing to remember is that you will never run the koi pond air pump <br>if your pond water pump is running. So shut down the water pump. <br>2. Move the Multiport valve to the u201cRINSEu201d position. This will allow the air <br>to enter the bottom of the filter and rise through the beads, supplying <br>oxygen, while gently tumbling them so all of the bacteria gets a fresh <br>breath of air. The air, after rising through the beads, will exit out the top <br>spray bar and then out the waste line. <br>3. Simply turn on your pond air pump.   1. How to use “ALISS” AquaBead LIfe Support System External hook up portion of ALISS This is easy. Simply hook up your koi pond air pump to this barbed fitting. To operate ALISS 1. One thing to remember is that you will never run the koi pond air pump if your pond water pump is running. So shut down the water pump. 2. Move the Multiport valve to the “RINSE” position. This will allow the air to enter the bottom of the filter and rise through the beads, supplying oxygen, while gently tumbling them so all of the bacteria gets a fresh breath of air. The air, after rising through the beads, will exit out the top spray bar and then out the waste line. 3. Simply turn on your pond air pump. The valve on “ALISS” will open automatically and dispense the much needed oxygen to the bacteria. 4.
