The Brazilian textile industry generates large volumes of wastewater, with dyes being a major concern due to their high solubility and low degradability. This study evaluated the adsorption of the azo dye Reafix Yellow B8G (ARB8G) using boiler ash, a low-cost byproduct. Experiments showed that 100% dye removal was achieved within 30 minutes under controlled conditions. These findings highlight the potential of boiler ash as an effective and sustainable material for treating dye-contaminated effluents.
