  1. Paladin Cast Iron Radiators - Finishing Options We do recommend the Paladin finishing service. Each radiator section is carefully painted prior to assembly and testing. Cheap radiators Victorian style radiators Primer Black primer standard, white primer on request at a small charge. Neo Georgian Radiators - Grey primer only. Standard Custom Painting For an authentic historical finish for your cast iron radiators Paladin use the Farrow & Ball historical colour range. These colours are historically correct for tone and vibrance of colour used through the ages. You can also choose your own colours, including matching to a swatch of material. You can select from almost any range of colours. We use an oil based high quality paint suitably formulated for cast iron radiators with a choice of Eggshell (default finish) semi-gloss, full gloss or a wonderful Non Reflective Matt plus some hammered finishes for that unique special look. Popular colours which compliment most home colour schemes are: White Tie, Pointing, Off Black and Railings. However, you can select any colour from the Farrow and Ball historical range, Little Greene Co colours, Crown Colours or indeed any RAL colour too...   3. Hand Finished Highlight Effect For that truly dramatic and atmospheric result choose the highlight paint effect. This paint effect has been especially created by Paladin for ornate cast iron radiators. Basically the beautiful moulded detail of every ornate cast iron radiator can be highlighted by hand on top of its base colour in a choice of rich gold, striking pewter or warm copper. The highlight paint effect works well with all the 8 metallic colour choices and the historical colours. The most popular highlight paint effects are Old Penny highlighted in copper or gold, Old Pewter highlighted in pewter and black highlighted with pewter.
