The RGA is designed to retrofit easily onto any existing tank, even while in service.   2. Tank Construction The construction of large oil depots has become increasingly important, which also makes oil storage safety a hot topic. Lightning is considered being one of the main causes of oil tank fires.

  3. Dangerous Conditions Most of the product stored in the oil depots are flammable liquids, and the oil gases which are produced by oil products can easily cause an explosion.

  4. Highly Flammable Lightning strikes can cause direct lightning damage, indirect lightning damage, and lightning wave intrusion hazards. The damage can cause harm from multiple aspects.

  5. Floating Roof Tanks Prior to export, processed crude oil is stored in Floating Roof Tanks (FRT) to further allow any trapped gas within the crude oil to escape. FRT’s are vital in the processing of crude oil to acceptable export specifications.
