Bhoomi Puja is performed before constructing on a piece of land or tilling the land. Bhoomi or Earth is considered as the Mother of all that exists. By doing this Puja we are seeking permission for our actions and forgiveness for disturbing the balance and equilibrium of Mother Earth.

  2. BHOOMI PUJA Bhoomi Puja is a special ritual of paying respect to the land goddess – Bhoomi Devi – along with other deities. People believe that this ritual brings prosperity and peace to the home constructed on the land. The whole idea of Bhoomi Puja for new house is to receive divine blessings. You also aim to ask forgiveness from the various creatures dwelling underground since you may harm them during construction.
