  1. Hempcrete Products and Materials.

  2. Benefits of Hempcrete Environmentally more friendly with less use of petrochemicals. Low maintenance. Exceptionally quiet from exterior and interior noise. Cost effective. Potential carbon neutral construction. Aesthetically pleasing with other materials (stone, wood, tile). Plaster invented in B.C. creates a waterproof, breathable shell around the house. Thermal mass assists temperature control in low and high temperatures.

  3. Hempcrete Uses 1) HEMPCRETE FLOORS AND ROOFS In floors and roofs hempcrete is used in combination with other materials to provide an insulating layer, which can form all, or part, of the insulation layer depending on the building design. 2) HEMPCRETE RETROFIT INFILL PANELS In the restoration or retrofit of traditional and historic buildings hempcrete is often used to replace or repair infill panels in timber frame buildings, or to add insulation to solid walls in old buildings. It is ideal for use in traditional buildings because of its vapour-permeability and its ability (as a wet-mixed, loose-fill material which hardens once applied) to mould itself exactly to unevenly shaped walls in an old building, and support itself without sagging.

  4. Hempcrete Sound Insulation The acoustic insulation properties of hempcrete make your walls, roof and floors sound-proof. With the use of hempcrete blocks for your walls, external and ambient noise will significantly reduce. It acts as a real sound trap and helps in dampening the majority of sound waves, thus acting as a barrier against noise pollution. 04
