The Importance of Automated Software Testing

Automated software testing is the use of computer programs and logic to execute tests against an application without the need for people to do it manually. From assessing whether an applicationu2019s user interface functions to load and performance set tests, these can be done automatically. Automated testing is great because it allows repetitive testing at greater speed and accuracy when compared against manual testing. This enables bugs to be spotted sooner rather than later and lowers the expenditure of resources and time utilized by traditional testing methodologies.
