On the occasion of ‘World Aids Day’ Powai-based Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital organised a debate competition among school kids on the topic – ‘World Aids Day – Remember & Commit‘ at its premises. Several schools from across the city participated in the event wherein ‘Podar International School won the competition, and Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai was Runner up. Miss. Drupati Pandey from Seven Square Academy was awarded as the best speaker. www.hiranandanihospital.org
Across the world, awareness activities were held on the occasion of World Aids Day. Dr. L H Hiranandani Hospital in Powai went a step ahead with their attempt to create awareness at a much younger level among youths. Nine schools participated in the competition include 1) Bombay Scottish School, Mahim, 2) Pawar Public School, Chandivali 3) Hiranandani Foundation School, Powai 4) Children Academy, Kandivali 5) Podar International School, Powai 6) Hiranandani Foundation School, International 7) Prime Academy, Marol 8) Seven Square Academy, Mira Road 9) Hiranandani Foundation School, Thane. www.hiranandanihospital.org
The 5 Hour long Debate Competition was ably moderated by Dr Austin Fernandes – Consultant Psychiatrist at Dr L H Hiranandani Hospital and the Panel of Judges included Prof. Juhi Ranjan – PGDM (PM & HRD), Mll & LW, MPM, Dr Ganesh Dhumal – VP- MAGMO, Secretary- Gazetted Officer, Maharashtra, CA Manish P Hingar – Speaker, Entrepreneur & Chief Belief Officer of Fintoo and Ms. Ujala Jhamb – Senior Director Baker Hughes.
