There is nothing better than escaping to your bedroom to join your favourite hero or heroine! Is your child already an avid supporter of a premiership team? It may be that their footballing passion leans more towards the national team, in which case an England football quilt might be suitable.   6. THE BOYS CHOICE The gender gap seems to narrow year on year but our automatic associations still steer boys towards certain choices. Just as girls are drawn to princesses boys are more about toys, in particular cars and BMXs. Camouflage will also go down well, especially with children fascinated by all things military.   7. THE GIRLS CHOICE It is entirely true that some girls like racing cars, BMX bikes and camouflage. However, an overwhelming majority still prefer to dress up as princesses, particularly since Frozen took the world by storm. There are lots of pretty pink duvet covers that girls want, covered with their Disney heroines and who could blame them. Todays princess is not the fainting easily overwhelmed sort – they are the kind that freeze stuff and are very clear about their own mind. Girls may opt for a football theme and enjoy dressing up as a pirate just as much as their male counterparts but in the most part pretty, sparkly and colourful bedding still appeals to them more. 6 6
