  1. IIMT Group of college Global Challenges in Digital Marketing Challenge is a way of life; in every walk of life. But digital marketing is more prone to it. Digital world doesn’t give space to mediocrity. There are some grave challenges in the Digital world worldwide. Budget issue is the prime one. Some firms struggle with small budget issues. Making the most of a small budget is not everyone’s cup of tea. In this case, it’s very tough to stand head and shoulders or stand out against top guns. Actually digital marketing demands adequate budget for ad in the beginning. The affect is obvious as Google’s search algorithm is also slightly biased towards big brands. However, Google has had been denying it. This budget issue gives a kind of unfair advantage to the top guns in the field. Sometimes, it’s a fight between unequals. The playing ground should be leveled. The way out for the new players is that they can go for local marketing strategy through Google My Business page. So it is better to rather develop relationships with local influencers. For them, referrals could be the best way to spread positive word of mouth for growth. Another challenge in digital marketing is the rank competition. It’s very tough actually. Again the top guns have the upper hand in it. They could afford a lot to bait the costumers. However, it depends on location and the industry also. Here one can try something a little different. The use of language. Like short phrases can make a difference. Short keywords or phrases could be the source of high clicks. Costumer experience also must be kept in mind. Thirdly, for digital marketing social media is a new challenge. Though, it has a reputation for being quick, easy, and free engagement with the audience. There is no doubt in it. But when it comes to practice, it can be a difficult medium to get it right. Till date, it is seen that good business people have not trusted it. Frequency does matter here. Social media is a double edged sword. If posting is done once a month it means one will probably be forgotten quickly. If posting is done on daily basis, it will show desperateness. More posts are not considered better. Costumers do not appreciate being spammed by posts, particularly on such platforms. Some feel hesitant on social media due to their not-so-popular objects. It has been studied that returns on social media decline after about 5 posts a week. So one should be very cautious about resisting the desire to post more.
