  2. education industry to “testing product” and a new app called NextLevel.    Reasons-   The co-founder and CEO of Unacademy, Gaurav Munjal, stated in an internal message that roughly 80% of Relevel’s surviving workforce will be absorbed by other Unacademy Group companies.   Because there were no open positions for them, the company will have to let go of about 20% (about 40 members) of the staff Munjal wrote.   The perks offered to current workers in November will also be extended to the impacted staff.   These include placement assistance, expedited vesting, severance compensation equal to the notice period plus an additional two months, and medical insurance.   As the 몭nancing crunch for the Indian startup ecosystem grew worse in November of last year, Unacademy let go 10% of its personnel, or close to 350 workers.   Future Planning-   In the next months, Relevel will fully move its attention away from the education business to focus entirely on its Tests Product and the recently launched App called NextLevel, he continued.   The CEO assured the Learners enrolled in the current “Learner Cohorts” that they won’t be affected and that Relevel’s staff would continue to offer them high-quality learning experiences and results.   He remarked Relevel’s core team will concentrate on developing NextLevel.   About 73 people, or 40% of the staff at another edtech business, Harappa Education, were let go last week.    UpGrad, a higher education website, purchased Harappa Education last year for $38 million (about Rs 300 crore).
