Sensex and Nifty both gain by 4% in 2022; what to anticipate in 2023 

In 2022, the market value of BSE-listed companies increased by Rs 16.44 lakh billion. Market capitalization of companies listed on the BSE increased to Rs. 282.44 lakh crore today from Rs. 266 lakh crores on December 31, 2021. ICICI Securities predicts that the Sensex will reach a level of 71,600 by December 2023, which would represent an increase of almost 17% over the next 12 months. The firm has set a goal of 21,500 for the Nifty.
