  1. Brief History of Thong Underwear Did you ever think that a narrow piece of fabric with a string-like waistband and rear strap would become a popular men’s underwear style? Well, whatever they thought was for the invention, men’s thong underwear clearly has numerous practical advantages no underwear lines, looking sexy, or something like boosting confidence. It really bothered me when both the sexes tried to claim it theirs, so we did a little research on where did the current pouch thong underwear came from. Let us look at the various iconic dates which introduced the sexy underwear to all of us. • Ancient times: Thongs are considered to be the predecessor of loincloth which means it is the oldest form of inner wear and is also thought to have been worn mostly or exclusively by men. • Before 1939: Thongs made its appearances in different cultures, including Ancient Egypt and Africa as well as Greek, Roman, and Japanese cultures. (It was the standard uniform for sumo wrestlers, and still is.) • 1939: It was in this year that thong first made its appearance, but it was not

However, now men have opened their minds to thongs and have more or less accepted the respective style.
