There was a time where charging a phone would take a couple of hours and with the advancement, we have reached a stage where we can charge our phones without connecting them to a cable. This is how powerful invisible fast wireless charger is and the below points explain the use of wireless charging. How does wireless charging work? When we say no cables it means no cables at all. The charging stations are always attached to the socket which is always connected to a power cable and plug for power. There are still 2 types of charging even in a wireless setting which are discussed below: Inductive charging In this type of charging the receiver ,i.e, the smartphone contains a coil that is used as an induction to transfer electricity to the phone for charging the battery. Induction means that an alternating magnetic field in a neighboring piece of metal creates an electric current. Induction stoves are based on this policy: in this case, a coil in the cook top creates an alternating magnetic field through which electricity passes into the base of the pot. This makes the base of the pot grow hot. Resonant charging Resonant charging is an extensive form of wireless charging. In this principle, there is more than one resonant circuit in the coil in the charging station and the coil in the device. These are electric circuits that have a capacitor and a coil which are adjusted specifically to suit the respective application. It also has more advantages in comparison to inductive charging: • It can charge several devices at once • It enables the device to be set inadequately on the charging station • It provides a greater distance between the charging station and the device • It provides higher levels of performance in which more of the energy reaches the battery The different types of countertop wireless chargers show us how we can meet our needs accordingly and how they are adding a benefit to every consumer.
