  1. Uveitis Treatment in Homeopathy

  2. Uveitis is the medical name for inflammation of the uvea, the eye's central layer. Between the sclera (white coat of the eye) and the retina is this layer (the back of the eye). The uvea, which is made up of blood arteries that supply the eye, is an important element of the eye. Inflammation in this area of the eye can impact vision as well as other areas of the eye, including the cornea, retina, and sclera. Homeopathic uveitis medicines, unlike conventional medicine, do not use steroids or surgical procedures, which can lead to further complications such as glaucoma, cataracts, and, in some cases, blindness.

  3. Uveitis, or intraocular inflammatory illness, is a severe problem for ophthalmologists. It is a Th-1 driven autoimmune illness that affects people in their working years. The annual incidence of uveitis is estimated to be around 14-17 per 100,000, with a peak in the 20-50 year age group and subsequently a decline. The overall prevalence of uveitis varies by geography: 38 per 100,000 in France, roughly 200 per 100,000 in the United States, and 730 per 100,000 in India. In India, this amounts to 8.5 million people suffering from uveitis out of a population of 1168 million people in 2010.

  4. Symptoms: Redness of the eye Blurred vision Dark floaters in the vision of the eye Eye pain Sensitivity to light • Causes: Bacterial, viral, fungal protozoal or autoimmune diseases. It can also occur because of some trauma. • Treatment: Homeopathy can offer great scope of treatment in uveitis.
