  2. Introduction: Working for a social welfare cause is certainly inspiring. You get to extend your support to all the less fortunate fellow human beings. Whether it is illiteracy, malnutrition, violence etc, you can support the people and help them in their struggling times. While you might get all geared up for the humanitarian mission trip, you should never forget the aim. With a good planning, you will be able to make the most out of your humanitarian visit.

  3. 1. Knowing the Objective : Go through the material of the organization you are associated with. This will help you know about all the work they have undertaken in the past and they intend to in the future. Additionally, you will have to identify your role in the project.

  4. 2. Dressing Up Right: The easiest way is to dress up like them whenever possible. You will not have to worry about what kind of clothes you should wear. Your regular jeans and tee will do, however, when you dress like them, breaking the ice becomes easier.

  5. 3. Necessary Arrangements: Being attached to a group will make it easier while working for the humanitarian mission. You will be updated with the tasks that you will have to undertake. But, as a responsible volunteer, you should actively participate and confirm on your tasks.
