Why I’ve seen customers move • Their end-users want Windows 7 • XP 9+ years old, poor Vista adoption • Reduce IT costs: • Simplify ecosystem (BitLocker, AppLocker, BranchCache, DirectAccess, . . .) • More automation (WIM, USMT, better tool-support, GPO capabilities) • Compatibility • HW support • XP-Mode –vs- MED-V • (IE8)
