SDGs, STI for SDGs and EO • Toward 2030, three international frameworks are leading the global activities: • United Nations Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) • Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030 • Paris Agreement • SDGs provides holistic scope for global issues, in addition to other two framework. • SDGs requires science, technology and innovation to play significant roles for achievement of the goals. • Amongst STI, earth observation provides data based upon the facts.

  3. Earth Observation in support of the SDGs GEO summarized the report and is continuing the activities focusing upon SDGs.

  4. Today’s Topics Regarding EO for SDGs, What is realized today? What is planning toward tomorrow? What is missing and necessary to the future? Foresight toward 2030.
