  2. Since 1972, the Texas Folklife Festival has been attracting visitors from across the state as they come together to share and celebrate the food, music, dance and art of more than 40 cultures in one setting. Today, there are approximately 70,000 people who take part in this four-day cultural extravaganza. • With eight entertainment stages featuring a collage of world music and traditional ethnic folk dance, this is one of the most important elements of the four day festival. From Aztec dancers to Zydeco music, there are 50 traditional folk dance groups and 65 music groups that perform and entertain audiences of all ages. • As the sponsor of an entertainment stage, your brand and company name will be seen by more than 70,000 visitors. Sponsorship includes the following benefits: • Named recognition as the stage sponsor (i.e., Your Company Name Stage 7) in the San Antonio Express-News Visitor Guide, which is distributed to all newspaper subscribers as well as to the visitors as they enter the gates. • Company banners featured as backdrops on the stage. • Before and after the performances, emcees offer promotions through vignettes — snippets you provide about your company that are shared with the audiences. • Company logo featured on the home page and sponsor pages of the Texas Folklife Festival Web site, with a click-thru to your company’s Web site. • Complimentary tickets and VIP passes to the Hospitality Tent. • Opportunity to have employees volunteer. • As a sponsor, you will establish your company and/or services as one that values diversity and culture.
