  2.  U s e f u l L i n k s Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has already released the notification for the year 2019-20 , the aspirants preparing for SSC Combined Graduate Level Exam (CGL) should know about the syllabus in detail so that they can strategize their study plan accordingly. SSC CGL Syllabus Tier 1 The first stage of SSC CGL Recruitment Exam is the Tier 1 Level. It will have an Online mode of examination and questions will be of objective type. Also check the SSC CGL Apply Online Process once it is on the official website SSC CGL Quantitative Aptitude Syllabus The questions will be designed to test the ability of appropriate use of numbers and number sense of the candidate. The scope of the test will be the computation of whole numbers, decimals and fractions and relationships between numbers. It will test sense of order among numbers, ability to translate from one name to another, sense or order of magnitude, estimation or prediction of the outcome of computation, selection of an appropriate operation for the solution of real life problems and knowledge of alternative computation procedures to find answers. The questions would also be based on arithmetical concepts and relationship between numbers and not on complicated arithmeti- cal computation (The standard of the questions will be of 10+2 level). SSC CGL Tier 4 consists of Document Verification and Data Entry Skill Test (DEST)/ Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) SSC CGL Data Entry Skill Test o8,000 (eight thousand) Key Depression per hour on Computer (for Tax Assistants post) oThe “Data Entry Speed Test” Skill Test will be conducted for a passage of about 2000 (two thousand) key depressions for a duration of 15 (fifteen) minutes.
