  1. Why QuickBooks not Working after Windows Update Important – Potential QuickBooks Desktop Disruption for Intuit Services due to System Requirements Update Are you seeing the above message when opening QuickBooks Desktop? This message lets you know you may need to update your operating system or version of QuickBooks so everything continues functioning properly ahead of forthcoming security updates. Many users will have no problem at all since their systems already meet these new update requirements (and most are related to your operating system, not QuickBooks Desktop itself), but we want to make sure everyone is prepared. When is this change happening? In order to provide greater security and software stability, all connections used by QuickBooks Desktop to access Intuit services will need to meet these system requirements after May 31, 2018. How do I know if my system already meets these requirements? The easiest way to check if your system and QuickBooks Desktop version meet the new requirements is to download the TLS1.2 Readiness Tool from the link(also available

  2. from the articles below) and let the tool run a diagnostic. This tool will tell you if you already meet the requirements or need to make changes to be compliant. What services are being impacted?
