  5. Benefits of PARIS for Oklahoma FFY 2006 • Grant paid for implementation costs of $127,381 • Programming costs • Staff salaries and travel • 3,236 “Discrepant” cases addressed • Cases corrected, closed or grants reduced • 963 fraud cases initiated

  6. Benefits of PARIS for Oklahoma FFY 2006 • $779,349 annualized savings on cases completed to date on first four matches: • $313,715 food stamps • $ 2,711 TANF • $ 4,020 Daycare • $458,903 Medical

Benefits of PARIS for Oklahoma FFY 2006 • Overpayment cases average $1,333 • 289 submitted to date/ 55 complete for $73,311 • If average remains static we anticipate an additional $311,922 • 247 Medicaid only cases identified that were totally ineligible. These overpayments total $391,810 • Other unanticipated benefits

  8. Our Trends • VA and Federal matches have steadily decreased as previous matches are addressed • Interstate matches have increased • Only 2 border states participated when we joined, now 5 out of 6 participate

  9. Challenges Ahead • New IT format approved by the board to allow for PARIS expansion starting in August 2007 • Automating matches to the field level • New method for cost/benefit analysis
