Gross brain findings. . . Lacunar infarct, left putamen. NO hippocampal atrophy. Well pigmented substantia nigra. No evidence of Alzheimer disease. No neuritic plaques. Frequent neurofibrillary tangles inhippocampus (above) and entorhinalcortex; sparse tangles in temporal cortex. Silver. Silver.
