  1. Talking about fiction writing genres The movie you watch or the novel you read feature stories, which are the brainchild of a writer. If the storyline is completely imaginative, it is the creation of a fiction writer. Fiction writers are expert in creating an imaginative world, but their work can fall into more than one category. Canadian authors like Liane Mahugh have great creations in genres which are quite popular among readers, and fall in one of the below discussed genres. Literary Literary fiction writers do no actually fit into anyone genre. Rather, they focus more on character development, exploring different themes like love, loss, identity, human conditions, and others.
