  2. Finding the perfect place to get married and have your reception requires several steps. Before you get start searching for wedding venues, the first step is to sit down with your fiancé and discuss what type of wedding celebration you both desire. During this process, take into consideration the following:

  3. Your wedding budget and how much you are willing to spend on the venue. • The location where you want to get married. • The traveling conditions required to get to the location. • The estimated number of guests you want to invite.

  4. The types of food, beverages, and alcohol you want to serve. • The amount of available parking. • The amount you have reserved for the Kelowna wedding DJ you want to hire.

  11. For outdoor venues, remember to ask what contingency plan the location offers for inclement weather. In the event you immediately love a particular venue, but still have other locations to view, there are a few things you can do.

  12. You could ask the coordinator to pencil you in, but there is a risk someone else might book the location if you take too long to decide. Another option is to see if they would accept a refundable deposit should you change your mind

  13. If not, then you only other options are to reserve the location or take the chance it might still be available after you visit any of the venues still on your list. Once you decide on a venue, the next step is to reserve it and lock in your date.
