  2. HP Envy 4500 is a wireless printer supporting various advanced features. The printer has printing capability, supporting services such as ePrint and AirPrint. The printer installation involves unboxing the printer, setting up the accessories, enabling power supply and connecting the printer to your device via USB, wired or wireless network.

Quick Steps for HP Envy 4500 Unboxing 1.Clear all the safety material and tapes from the trays and carriage access area of the printer. 2.Connect the printer to an electrical outlet using a power cord. 3."Load paper" into the input tray. 4.Find and press the Power button on the control panel. 5.Set your country, region, date, and time on the control panel. 6.Unpack the new ink cartridges and load them into the empty slots. Align the installed cartridges.

Peel off the plastic tapes on the new cartridges and then insert them into appropriate slots in the printer. The color cartridge goes into the left slot and the black ink cartridge into the right slot. 7) Close the lids on the slot and then pull access door down. Wait until the printer prints a calibration page. Mount the page with its print side down on the scanner glass and then scan it. The printer will now align the installed ink cartridges.

You can either use the supplied setup disc or download the driver from the manufacturer’s site. 9) Once the driver gets downloaded completely, find and double-click the .exe file (Windows) or the .dmg file (Mac) in the Downloads folder of your computer. 10) Select the language, regions and the purpose of installation, if prompted. Respond appropriately to the installer's on-screen prompts. Connect the printer to your computer when a screen displays asking you to do the same. The computer will detect and connect to the printer. Print a test page to verify the connection.
