  1. Keith Klouda: Experienced Carpenter Keith Klouda can be especially grateful for the helpful presence of his father in learning how to solve the mathematical problems of wood construction, as well as acquiring the language skills and mastery of the laws of physical science which enable a carpenter to envision the job beyond the task at hand. Carpenters are obsessed with detail, as inexact measurements destroy an entire project. Through years of experience Klouda is able to evaluate the quality and stability of wooden structures, envisioning damage or weakness within a construction. One of the great advantages of the confidence which comes to experienced carpenters like Klouda is their ability to roll with the flow of a job. There will be problems with any construction, and effective carpenters not only detect difficulties but are able to devise helpful solutions with alacrity. Keith Klouda’s father George would have taken his son under his carpentry wing from a young age, starting with instruction in the basic tools of carpentry. George would have spent a lot of time with Keith as a toddler allowing him to practice hammering, and removing nails, as the hammer is one of the basics of carpentry. Later Keith would have begun to practice with the universal saw, and once Keith was old enough to learn his numbers, George would have begun working with marking tools and measuring tape, skills which would have taken years to master. Somewhere in those years of practice, Keith would have naturally begun to use the spirit level.
