  4. Open on the 08/08/08 at 8pm,bearing witness the Seychelles starry velvet skies Lounge 8 has 8 tables,8 signature cocktails and 8 beds on the first floor. The number 8 deemed lucky to the owner, Mrs. Joelle Fabre once a top model in Belgium and her husband since 25 years chef Jean-Batiste Dalpez, has introduced in the Seychelles a nouvelle cuisine. Using their daily inspirations, the restaurants 5 courses are kept as a surprise to it’s dinners, eliminating the restrictive task of choosing ala carte.

  6. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CIVIL MARRIAGE: Passport Birth certificate Decree Absolute/divorce papers if applicable Previous marriage and/or death certificates if applicable. All foreign language documents not in English) must be officially translated on appropriate embassy headed paper ,before forwarding them to us.

  7. DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR CIVIL MARRIAGE: Original documents should not be sent by post, but carried by the clients when travelling to the Seychelles. Special requirements for French Nationals; contact your embassy for specific requirements.

  8. In the event of divorce, change of name by deed poll or death, the relevant certificate will need to be produced.We would recommend that these documents are submitted to us at least 6 weeks prior to departure in order that arrangements can be made. Guests getting married MUST travel with the originals. Ceremonies are conducted by the registrar in accordance with the Seychelles Law. The date selected is of course, subject to the Registrar’s viability and the ceremony can be arranged Monday to Friday, excluding Public Holidays.....We would recommend the clients are residents at a Seychelles hotel at least three days prior to the ceremony to finalize arrangements.

  9. FORMALITIES Clients wishing to marry in the Seychelles must be at least 18 years old. Civil ceremonies performed by the Registrar in Seychelles are recognized in all countries. Civil ceremonies can be performed at the Lounge 8 and usually between 1400hrs and 1800hrs Monday to Sunday The date should be fixed ideally 6 weeks or more prior to your arrival.

  10. MEETINGS A briefing will be organized at the Lounge 8 with our wedding coordinator. Options will be discussed for your big day and advice, where necessary given.

  12. Remember It is hot in the Seychelles, you may wish to choose something light to wear on your big day. Local flower ;the franchipani is commonly used in the Seychelles for wedding decorations such as possy, button whole and hair pins. However should you require any type of flower, please do request in advance as we might have to import these. If you wish to bring confetti; please be sure that they are biodegradable as the Seychelles are protected islands.
