The splicer brings the corrugated medium and the liner again into contact layering the corrugated sheets. The corrugated sheet then enters the ENL section which allows the web to cure with a firm bond to maintain the integrity of the flute structure. After applying the glue on the single-phase web, the same is passed on to the slitter score which as the name suggests slits the cardboard into proper width and dimensions. The stacker-base, where the slits are brought down, accumulates the sheets which are then supervised by experts for quality purposes. Here the corrugated sheets are ready for shipment which then makes the cardboard boxes for packaging!
