  1. How To Install Norton Internet Security in Windows 8.1

  2. Step 1: This Slide describes how to install Norton Internet Security in Windows 8.1 OS. Firstly, download Norton Internet Security from official site.

  3. Step 2: For more steps, please keep in mind how to run “Control Panel” in Windows 8.1. Right click the “Windows icon” and click “Control Panel” as shown. 

  4. Step 3: Now, when the Norton Internet Security Setup file have downloaded, please Right Click on it and select “Properties”.

  5. Step 4: Switch to “Digital Signatures” tab, select “Symantec Corporation” and press “Details” button.

  6. Step 5: On “General” tab have to be shown “Digital Signature Information” – “This digital signature is OK.” It means, that the Norton Internet Security Setup file is checked by SHA1 sum algorithm. Shut both windows. 

  7. Step 6: Now, when we have go again to Windows Explorer, Right Click once more to select “Run as administrator” in a context menu.
