  2. Know About Lubricants The most commonly used industrial lubricants are oils and greases. They help in reducing friction and wear. Their primary function is to make the solid surfaces function smoothly by forming an oily liquid film. They are also used to control temperature and eliminate harmful particles. The best lubricant reduces solid-to-solid friction and eases any amount of resistance that would obstruct movement and induce wear and tear.

  3. Greases are produced by mixing mineral تﻮﻳز and lithium-based soaps. They also incorporate some fortifying components, such as molybdenum disulfide, graphite, and teflon. Greases provide the lubrication properties of oils together with stickiness, making them perfect for lubricating open surfaces and exposed moving parts. The additives added to grease prevent corrosion, rust, wear and tear. Mineral oil- based greases are formulated to provide excellent performance for several applications; Shield’s greases normally delivers substantial benefits, including prolonged tool life.

An oil’s flexibility at different temperatures is based on the viscosity index. The higher the viscosity index is the more flexible the oil is under wide a range of temperatures.
