  2. The Cotton Textile Industry it shapes the biggest single industry in India. Consistently the Cotton Textile Industry produces 30% – 35%` of the complete industrial products.

  3. Textile Industry fulfills the country’s demand for garments and exports. This industry contributes almost 30% of the estimation of exports and gives employment over 55 million workers. Most Indians depend on textile industry to a larger extent. • Some depend on the producing cotton and garments and some deliver on manufacturing machines for the cotton material. They establish manufacturing plants. It's evident that cotton industry is indispensable in India. • After Independence in India, foreign cotton textile Industry that focuses on modern cotton textiles were boycotted. Then, Indian Textile Industry seems to be flourishing.

About three-fourths were spinning mills and the remaining is filled with composite mills. Several thousand small factories are located in India which comprises of 5 to 10 looms.
