Paying No Commission–It’s a most important reason why people take home ownership. Paying thousands of dollars, that’s wrapped into the house price as a commission to the middle man is not an easy thing to do for savvy consumer or for the consumer with a tight budget. Agent’s Loyalty - After signing on dotted lines if you find out that agent wasn’t loyal to you and sold a property for more than its actual worth. So sometimes we can’t rely only on words or on the loyalty and on previous transaction list of a realtor. It’s better to go solo if you can control the whole process of housing. Agent’s Work - most of the time realtors get involve into a number of transactions that results in a lack of proper attention to the clients, does not respond your needs and query in a timely manner. It happens and it happens most of the time. It’s one of the major drawbacks of having a realtor and decision of private sale is good here. Negotiation Power Remains With You – House marketing is all about negotiation. Good and effective negotiation can add thousands of dollars to your saving. But if you don’t hire a realtor, the negotiation power remains with you and you can personally get a chance to know how desperately the buyer wants your property so that you can negotiate the offered money.

  3. Make Use Of Internet – People think that realtors are the only source to get the property in a legal and perfect way, but this is a big misconception. In today’s era of digitization and Internet, there are thousands and thousands of websites offering personal assistance in buying properties and that can be accessed for free. They have all the databases which include the current rates of property and what value this property might hold in future. All this access gives the clients enough knowledge to gain the idea if investing in the property is a good idea or not, leaving no space and need for a realtor. First-Hand Knowledge – When a real estate agent is not involved in your buying selling process, you can have the first hand and best knowledge that to whom you’re dealing with, is it someone in your relation or some unknown party, this also affects the money offered.
