  4. Cinema In the beginning of the 60’s Hollywood productions started to decline. They lost their market to Pinewood Studios and Cinecittà Studios, respectively in England and Italy. The American producers were no longer famous and people like Stanley Kubrick, Mike Nichols and Arthur Penn started to show up.

  5. The most famous movies were: “Mary Poppins”, “La dolce vita”, “Bonnie and Clyde”, “2001: A space odyssey” and “My fair lady”. The last one and “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” were stared by Audrey Hepburn, one of the most famous and influencial actress of the decade. Audrey Hepburn

  6. Audrey Kathleen Ruston (Hepburn, name adopted by her father in further years) was an actress, model and humanist, born in Belgium and descendent from a family of English and French kings. She was considered too tall, skinny and with a pair of unusual big feet for a woman of that time. But with her beautiful classic face and elegance she conquest the world and broke the beauty satandard.

  7. Audrey was even considered an inspiration for the world famous stylist Givenchy, who used to dress her for world premieres. Her fame came with “Breakfast at Tifanny’s” in wich she played a luxury prostitute called Holly Golightly. She played over 4 more famous films. After having two children she gave up acting and focus her humanitary carear as UNICEF enbassador. Always very kind and humble, she died when she was 64 years old of cancer.
