  2. The Monarch Butterfly The monarch butterfly has 4 wings like other butterflies. It is a caterpillar before the butterfly stage. Here is a picture of an adult.

  3. Monarch Migration The monarch, unlike other butterflies, migrates to Mexico. Some monarchs may travel over 2,000 miles. Some airplane pilots have reported seeing them 29,000 feet in theair.

  4. Destination The destination of the butterflies is in 5 different sites in Mexico. There thousands of them live on fir trees. They are truly the most amazing type of butterfly.
