  3. WHO EXACTLY A PARAMEDIC IS? A paramedic is a dedicated medical emergency healthcare worker. They basically give treatment to patients at ground level. They are also present in ambulance services. They treat people in pre-hospital conditions. They are well-trained and skilled enough to give appropriate first aid on the spot. All About Paramedics WHERE DO PARAMEDICS WORK? Paramedics provide urgent and special care and treatment to patients in medical emergencies. They can be seen in medical emergency scenes, ambulance services, and hospitals. In ambulance services, they are assisted by the Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT).
