Levels 4 & 5 • - Delivered by Clubs • - Technical Skills Based • - Hard ball • - Coach level - UKCC2 • Levels 3 • - Delivered by Clubs and Schools • - Agility, balance & co-ordination based but with an eye to basic technical skills • - Soft ball progressing to hard ball • - Coach level - UKCC2 advised • Levels 1& 2 • - Delivered by schools • - Agility, balance & co-ordination based • - Soft ball • Coach level - UKCC1 • Coaching for teachers NatWest Inter Cricket Awards Structure 5 4 3 2 1 • The award levels will sit together within the following structure: Level 5 - Excellent in a game situation and shows the ability to move towards the next level of competitive cricket. Actively participates and engages team mates. Level 4 - A good technical player who shows excellent progression and actively participates in all sessions. Shows good potential and is strong in practice. Level 3 - An enthusiastic young player who progresses well and has the ability / desire to move onto the hard ball format of the game and shows basic technical skills Level 2 - An enthusiastic young player who actively participates in the sessions, is willing to engage with team mates and progresses throughout the sessions Level 1 - An enthusiastic young player who actively participates in the sessions and is willing to engage with team mates ECB PowerPoint Presentation Template - 20.12.04 Page 2
