Strategic: General Transport Master Plan • A new General Transport Master Plan (MPGT) is being elaborated by the Ministry of Transport. • As stated in the Partnership Agreement, the Master Plan will be the foundation of the development of projects in 2014-2020, providing a vision for the development of the transport sector in Romania until 2030. • 141 projects, with a total estimated cost of EUR 37 Billion (58% of the total cost of the projects considered), were proposed in the railway sector to be analysed in the first version of MPGT, submitted to debate in 2013.
