  2. Medieval Body Armor A wide range of Body Armor which Humans used throughout in history to protect themselves from various types of injury in dangerous situations; Later wooden shields and then metal shields Body Armor came into use.

  3. History Of Body Armor The history of the development of armor and arms begins with that of the human race. Humans throughout recorded history have used various types of materials to protect themselves from injury in combat and other dangerous situations. At first, protective clothing and shields were made from animal skins. As civilizations became more advanced, wooden shields and then metal shields came into use.

  4. Why Medieval Body Armor? • Body Armor is protective clothing, designed to absorb and/or deflect slashing, bludgeoning and penetrating attacks by weapons. • At Ectoria,we offer a full line of Body Armor, ranging from the early examples of Middle Ages. • Our medieval Body Armor come in a wide variety of styles, but they most specifically focus on the traditional Body Armor that were favored by first knights, and later, most cavalry and infantry soldiers • Small additional plates or discs of iron were added to the mail to protect vulnerable areas. • Each one is made from high-quality steel and is perfect for use both as a display and as a worn Armor

  5. Body Armor • The knights in armor, glorified in legends and stories, are merely one early example of rigid armor being used to protect combatants from other combatants. • In addition to evolving solid armor, flexible softer armor has been in use since medieval times too. • Today there are two main types: regular non-plated personal armor and hard-plate reinforced personal armor, which is used by combat soldiers, police tactical units and hostage rescue teams.
