How Precision Applications Depend on High-Speed Coreless DC Motors?

The main difference between a coreless and a regular DC motor is simple but very important. A coreless motor is made without any heavy iron core in its rotor which is the part that spins and since the rotor is so much lighter it has a very low inertia. This way it can start, stop, and even change direction much more quickly than a traditional motor which has a heavy iron core that needs way more energy to get moving and to stop. This fundamental design difference is what gives the coreless motor its high-performance capabilities
