  1. Use printed products for marketing Listening to your printing needs

  2. When we think about marketing, we mostly think about what we see through our screens: social media posts, TV commercials, electronic billboards and the like. But what about the use of marketing with printed products? It is sometimes referred to as traditional marketing, but the use of printed products is still very effective in any marketing strategy.

  3. Many companies use print to market their brands for many reasons. In a world saturated with screens, printing products such as flyers and brochures that you can handle between your fingers is a breath of fresh air. They are no strain on the eyes and give people better information retention. They last longer than a social media post or banner ad and can easily be stored in your bag or drawer. Print products also give a feeling of credibility and trustworthiness for the brand. Not only that, they are cheap and easy to reproduce.

  4. Here are some tips on how to use printed products in marketing for your brand:

  5. Improve your distribution strategy. No matter how well designed your flyer, folded flyer or product catalog is, it’s useless if you don’t get it to the right people. Distribute or place your flyers or brochures in places frequented by your target audience. It is also a good idea to distribute them in areas where people are waiting for something or someone such as train tracks, reception areas or dentists’ waiting rooms.

  6. Use banners and signs. A good old-fashioned banner or placard is classic business prints. They never cease to attract the attention of new and current customers, especially when they are witty and funny. Even if people don’t enter your store now, they will surely remember your business and spread it through word of mouth.

  7. Try mail marketing at home. People are so used to receiving emails that they don’t even bother reading them anymore. Getting mail delivered to your home, on the other hand, has become more exciting as it becomes more of a novelty and less saturated with constant announcements. People are 3 times more likely to take the time to read the flyer or brochure they receive through the door than those sent digitally.

  8. Take advantage of fairs and exhibitions. They are the best place to showcase the products and services your business offers. It is also the perfect place to network with new and existing customers. All those who participate in the fairs and exhibitions at which you are promoting your business are potential customers. Before moving on to the next booth, hand them a business card, brochure or catalog to catch their attention.

  9. Hand out giveaways with brochures or flyers. Freebies are always an effective marketing strategy. People love free stuff. When giving out your promotional pen or hand cream sample, attach them to your brochure or flyer. Even if they are more interested in your freebies now, they will take the time to learn more about your business once they get home.

  10. Establish relationships with nearby businesses. Find a deal with businesses in your area that can benefit both of you, especially those in the same industry as you. Maybe you can have business cards, flyers, brochures or even merchandise with your brand in their shop, and they can leave some in yours too. This way, their customers will become your customers and vice versa.

  11. Combine your digital marketing with your printed products. They can work together. You can use both print and digital as a marketing strategy to promote your business. Why not add a little taster to your next email campaign on a brochure or gift sent directly to your home. Include QR codes, social media links and URLs in your print products. If customers want to learn more about your business, they can use them to visit your online channels.

  12. The inclusion of hashtags in your flyers, banners or signs is another good marketing strategy. People will be inclined to use it when posting online. The more people use the hashtag, the more your online presence will grow. Print signs with which people can take pictures, especially when there is a sale or an event. People will be inclined to take a photo with the sign and to publish it on social media.
