Every person or couple living in the house typically has their own apartment-style room or suite of rooms. There are more facilities in the building. This can include places for socialising, eating, playing, and receiving medical or hospital care. Retirement home accommodations may be rented out, much like an apartment, or purchased outright, much like a condominium.
