Which is why taking the right biosafety measures for coronavirus is very important today. To make sure that all healthcare systems are better prepared, the World Health Organization (WHO) has shared with the hospitals and other care-centres with the needed biosafety measures for coronavirus infected people.

  4. When it comes to severe virus outbreaks, bio-safety measures are known to have great importance because of the need to contain the virus from spreading more. Which is why the WHO sets biosafety levels (BSL) for a proper biosafety measure for coronavirus. These set of protocols are to isolate hazardous biological agents inside lab facilities. There are 4 levels of BSL which range for 1 being dealing with minor fatalities to 4 being the extreme. From the 4 levels of BSL, the WHO prescribes BSL-3 when it comes to dealing with fatalities caused by the coronavirus. This BSL is applied both for those affected and suspected cases of the Virus.

  5. Medical healthcare professionals are given proper instructions about the appropriate containments of these hazardous biological agents that can much more damage. To reach out and provide the needed information about the same, there are multiple webinars on biosafety measures for coronavirus to help guide medical professionals. These are held online to reach more number of professionals who are dealing with providing healthcare to those infected by the coronavirus.

  6. Based on the main directives of the WHO, the dead bodies of those suspected and infected are to be cremated. This is unless there are other cases with religious restrictions of burial. So, in case the remains are not cremated immediately, it must be preserved at 4°C to 6 °C.

  7. In India, there are a few religions that practise the act of burial. in respect to this, there are a set of other measures that can be taken. According to the served directives, the body of the infected or suspected should be untouched in. The Virus is highly contagious. So, following the said biosafety measures for coronavirus is the best way to go. The remains of the person are to be packed in a leakproof plastic so that it contains the virus from having to spread to the ones around it.

  8. In case of demise occurred at home or elsewhere, the measures of containment are more precise. Occupants and family members are suggested to follow through and be cooperative to help contain the virus from spreading further. Doctors are highly professional when it comes to handling such cases. Which is why it is best to follow the instructions. • According to recent researches, the biosafety measures for coronavirus have proven to be of great help. To know more details, look for the online webinars that are more descriptive of the care and biosafety measures of coronavirus infected individuals.
