Case Study : Data Testing Automation narwalinc.com/insight-data-testing-automation Overview: Worldpay (formerly known as Vantiv) is a U.S.-based financial services company that provides payment processing solutions and technology services. After Vantiv acquired Worldpay, they knew that they would need to transform their approach to software quality in order to remain a leader in the fintech industry. Challenge: The client faced challenges with inaccurate data and reports and data modification was done in production with live data. Moreover, the Data quality rules, governance, and data definitions were not properly set. There was an overall lack of understanding of tools for data testing. The following were some of the most prominent challenges they faced: End to end reconciliation of data was complex Development, QA, and other teams were non-collaborative Different stakeholder interests and opinions on the QA value, process, and tools No long-term or big picture view on cost, speed of delivery, quality Lack of understanding of types of tools The volume, infrastructure, performance, and speed of the technology Solution: 1/2
