  2. What is bullying? • Bullying is a hurtful behavior that occurs to a person over and over again. • When bullying continues overtime, it can be physically, and emotionally damaging for a child and it’s effects could last long.

  3. What can you do as a parent to help your child?

  4. Give full attention to your child and listen to what he/she says. • Show that you care and you are ready to help him/her • Show your child how to solve problems. • Tell your child that its not his/her problem. • Let your child know it’s okay to be upset at times. • Keep in touch with your child’s teacher to ensure your child’s safety in his/her classroom.
