  6. Maria Prymachenko (1908–1997) is one of the most renowned artists in Ukraine. She was a village folk artist engaged in embroidery, drawing as well as painting оn ceramics. She was a self-taught artist whose popular work of the naive or primitivism genre portrayed Ukrainian folk art based on animal and plant life. Many of her masterpieces are included in a collection of folk art at the Ukrainian National Museum in Kyiv. Invading Russian forces destroyed a museum in Ivankiv, that was home to dozens of works by the folk artist on Sunday 28 February 2022. The Historical and Local History Museum was burnt to the ground, along with 25 works by Prymachenko.
