Example – They will come here in December. Here, the underlined word ‘in’ is the preposition. It describes when the subject ‘they’ will come. What are the types of prepositions? Following are the types of prepositions: 1.Preposition of time 2.Preposition of place 3.Preposition of thing Preposition of time The link of time between the nouns and other components of a sentence like pronouns and verbs is shown by prepositions of time.
