Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine. It has the highest, that is, the fourth level of recognition, in Ukraine.<br>Dnipropetrovsk State Medical University was founded on September 15, 1916. The university was established mainly to give higher education, especially to women. This academy received the status of a state academy in 1920 and was renamed "Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy" on 20 April 1994.<br>

  1. Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy, Ukraine – Orbit Guide Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy is one of the oldest universities in Ukraine. It has the highest, that is, the fourth level of recognition, in Ukraine. Dnipropetrovsk State Medical University was founded on September 15, 1916. The university was established mainly to give higher education, especially to women. This academy received the status of a state academy in 1920 and was renamed "Dnipropetrovsk State Medical Academy" on 20 April 1994. 646 Professors, 98 Physicians, 359 Prospective Doctors, 1 Medical Graduate, and 2 Concerned Members of the National Academy of Medical Sciences, all constituted by the scientific staff of the University. The academy employs over 1,100 people. Dnepropetrovsk State Medical Academy has theoretical, surgical, therapeutic, orthopedic, traumatic, and pediatric departments in its only scientific society.
