CONICAL BENDING MANDREL Pacorr Conical Bending Mandrel is a laboratory apparatus to bend coated test panels over a conical shaped mandrel in order to assess the elasticity or resistance of a coating paint or varnish to cracking; elongation and / or detachment from a metal test panel in accordance with ISO 6860 and ASTM D522. The conical shape of the bending area allows the deformation of the test panel and examination of the elasticity range of a coating. The Conical Bending Mandrel Tester is a compact, robust instrument made of enameled steel which is suitable for table-top use. LABORATORY HOT AIR OVEN Pacorr Laboratory Hot Air Oven is used to determine various physical characteristics of different materials and products at elevated temperatures may be carried out by heating the test specimen to the appropriate temperature inside a constant temperature air oven and determining the required characteristics with the specimens kept under the same temperature. For this purpose the equipment needed for conducting the determination can either be kept inside the oven along with the test specimens, or, if this is not feasible because of certain constrains, by taking the heated specimens out from the oven and conducting the test in still air within the shortest possible span of time.
